14th Street Closed After Massage Parlor Robbery

112910massage.jpg Cops were forced to close 14th Street between 7th and 8th Avenues last night after two men were arrested for attempting to rob a massage parlor. Police arrested the suspects and seized one gun, and no one was injured in the robbery attempt. Four women working in the parlor were taken to a bar across the street to await questioning, where one bar patron observed, "There were all these police with guns drawn. I've never seen police action like this." The NYPD: Vigilantly protecting your happy endings since 1845.

Glad it's not the one I like one block over.

"So much for my happy ending...Oh, oh, oh, oh.."

Basic facts, such as why the policed were "forced" to shut down the street are omitted. The reader is "forced" to click on the link to the Daily News article. By doing so, they learn that the police closed down the block to look for a possible third suspect. Also explained in the Daily News article is the reason why the police brought the women to the bar across the street. They needed a Mandarin translator. Perhaps jpeditor wanted these basic facts in one article, sans snarky comments directed at NY's finest. Personally, I would fire someone this inept at copying and pasting someone else's work...

Her close failed as she had already linked to the article, and thus she lost her "ironic wit" by not connecting to the NYDN headline Unhappy ending for two in massage parlor robbery try.
