Park Slope Residents Lose Cars To Trash Can Fire

In Astoria thugs are putting cars on cement blocks (and milk cartons)—but in Park Slope cars are getting torched! Bad. Old. Days. According to the Brooklyn Paper, three cars were set on fire Monday on 14th Street between 6th and 7th Avenues. While no one was injured, local Michael Castellano told the paper, “I lost my baby—my little Honda Civic."

He blamed "kids" for the act of destruction (we are guessing this was whilst shaking his fist in the air). While the cars fell victim to the flames, the fires were actually started in nearby garbage cans, bringing more fears to locals; one told the paper, “It’s scary because what if the garbage cans [that the vandals torched] were next to the buildings?” Well, that's one way to take care of bedbugs, at least.

This is the next step in the plan to eliminate automobiles from NYC. A non stop barrage of gridlock, and vandalism until people give in to the Bloomberg agenda of a car free city.

I used to live on this block. Ah, memories. A woman who lived on this street also went
    ">missing last year.
