Are Train Patdowns Coming In Our Future?

With all the frenzy of the Transportation Security Administration's more, uh, thorough patdowns for air travelers, Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano discussed the next frontier with Charlie Rose. In an interview earlier this week, she said, "I think the tighter we get on aviation, we have to also be thinking now about going onto mass transit or to trains or maritime." Well, the TSA is doing subway bag checks—won't it be great to get the full-body exam from them during rush hour?

Of course, a terrorist might set off a bomb anywhere, it doesn't have to be related to any type of travel.
