Typical jock
The never-ending ballad of Brett Favre's penis and former Jets eye candy sideline reporter Jenn Sterger just keeps rambling on. Earlier this week, the NFL announced that they would launch a full-scale, CSI-worthy forensic investigation into the explicit text messages Favre allegedly sent Sterger. But while the grownups deal with that, isn't it about time the Favre and Sterger camps start slinging mud at one another?
According to Sterger's agent, Phil Reese, Favre's agent, Bus Cook, asked him in October what it would take to keep Sterger quiet. Reese claims that Cook asked if there was an amount of money "that could make this go away. Cook shot back the exact opposite: that Reese made "numerous overtures" to him about payment in exchange for silence. "We were never going to pay them [because] there is no reason to pay them," Cook said yesterday. Back in October, there were allegations that Sterger was playing footsie with the NFL about their investigation while trying to get a pay-off from Favre's camp. While you try to wade through all the conflicting stories and make sense of this absurd universe, you can watch a clip of Sterger's racy Maxim shoot.
