City Bus Driver Allegedly Shoots Man 8 Times, Clocks In

Police have arrested MTA bus driver Richard Davidson, 36, of Brooklyn for shooting another man after "exchanging words" with him outside a Valley Stream, LI office building. Davidson reportedly shot Anthony Hinds six times in the legs and twice in the shoulder yesterday morning before walking away. But unlike some trigger-happy slackers who squeeze off a few rounds and take the rest of the day off, investigators say Davidson proceeded directly to work and clocked in for his regular shift.

Davidson left to drive to the Brooklyn bus depot and start his daily route driving the B11. Sgt. Robert Galgano told the Post, "Apparently, this guy just went into work like nothing had happened." A witness told police that Davidson had been wearing his MTA uniform, but police never expected Davidson would be working his regular shift. Still, they called the MTA, who located the bus and tracked it until the end of the route. Davidson was arrested on Flatbush and Nostrand Avenues after the bus had emptied.

Police say Davidson believed Hinds was having an affair with his wife. Amazingly, Hinds is in stable condition with non-life threatening injuries at Nassau University Medical Center. A friend of Hinds's also insists Hinds was not having an affair with Davidson's wife, but was merely concerned because he believed Davidson was beating her. Davidson has been charged with second-degree attempted murder and other weapons charges, and is being held without bail.

First of all, this has NOTHING to do with race! The man thought another man was sleeping with his wife!!! That's called jealousy.

Secondly... EVERY SERIAL KILLER IN THE HISTORY OF THE UNITED STATES EXCEPT ONE WAS WHITE. So the statement you made was total nonsense! Wikipedia has US Serial Killers in alphabetical order for you from Charles Albright straight through to Robert Lee Yates. All white, all murders, most used guns. And they didn't even include those WHITE Columbine psycos because they didn't classify them as "serial killers".

In the future you might want to educate yourself before coming out here talking nonsense like a total idiot!

A NYC MTA employee accused of violent, outrageous behavior? I'm SHOCKED! SHOCKED!

After all, these people work a good 32.5 hour week for very high wages+benefits+retirement. So the fact that they're surly, disrespectful, and downright racist toward the ridership really stuns me.

Oh, how wonderful it would be to be a Black person, particularly females (young and sexy, preferably.) Because, most likely, the bus will pull up directly in front of you so that you're the first person on (and the most likely to get a seat!)

Hey, all those old White Folks -- the lame and handicapped particularly -- can damn well WAIT while the cute young black lady takes her seat. Because, invariably, if there's a Black bus driver, he will ALWAYS pull up in front of the first Black passenger, even if there are others ahead in line and even if the stopping point is nowhere near where the bus should stop.

What about the white bus drivers of which there are plenty? The drivers who work 32.5 hours aren't making the very high wages you speak of. The drivers who make high wages put in 70-80 hour weeks on average...

26.92 * 32.5 = 874.90 pre tax....50 weeks / year = 43,745... not too shabby, though have to admit it's not easy work.

Add another 1,211.4 for an additional 40 hrs OT @ time and a half, thats' $2k/week...if you get that much OT.

Still wouldn't hurt if they FREAKING SMILED once in a while... And I don't think the half a dozen drivers who actually announce the stops in an intelligible manner get paid extra...
