Up In Arms: Arm Wrestlers Battle It Out At Port Authority

If you were walking through the Port Authority's North Wing yesterday, you may have noticed the gun show—as in hundreds of arm wrestlers at the 33rd Annual Empire State Golden Arm Wrestling Championships, which is a qualifying event for next month's national championships in Nevada. One participant, a 43-year-old woman who works as a nurse, told the Daily News she broke her arm during last year's event, but she was "out for revenge" this year (another competitor confirmed she was tough, explaining, she "crushes your thumbs").
