Last Night's Action: Rangers Turned Aside by Bruins

2008_12_rangerslogo.jpg After a quick start in the Northeast Division, the Rangers finally lost a game in regulation to a division rival. They couldn't take advantage of a five-on-three power play in the third and came up one goal short, 3-2, against the Bruins. Brandon Dubinsky and Marian Gaborik had the goals for the Rangers, who had a three-game losing streak snapped despite outshooting Boston 36-20. The Rangers visit Colorado on Friday.

New coach, same results for the Islanders. Jack Capuano saw his team fall 4-2 to Tampa Bay and lose for the 11th straight time -- and first under his watch. Matt Moulsonand John Tavares, the only two reasons to watch the team, scored for the Islanders, who haven't won since Oct. 21. Ouch.

"After a quick start in the northeast division, the rangers finally lost a game against a division rival." Is this some kind of joke? The Ranger's aren't in the same division as the Bruins, and I don't think they have been since the demise of the once great Patrick division. I'm not saying you have to be Don Cherry, but can you please at least get the divisions right?

Max Cleanse? Hmmm...I didn't see him on the ice. Was he a late scratch?
