Wasn't that some lovely weather this weekend? Three straight days with highs in the 60s have chipped away at November's cold start. By mid-week the monthly temperature should be back to normal. More warm weather is happening today under overcast skies as a dying cold front passes through the region. Look for a high really, really close to 60 degrees.

The chance of rain will gradually increase as the day progresses tomorrow. Low pressure is forming over the Gulf of Mexico and is expected cruise up the Appalachians this week. The city might see drizzle Tuesday morning but the bulk of the rain looks like it will hold off until tomorrow evening. The storm is going to pump a lot of warm Gulf air our way. Look for a high tomorrow in the upper 50s and almost no fall off until Wednesday night. Wednesday's high might again reach the lower 60s.

The storm should be out of here by Wednesday night. That means another sunny weekend! This time, though, it will be a bit cooler. Right now it looks like Friday won't quite make 50 degrees. As the next high pressure system moves eastward the temperature should rebound to the lower 50s on Saturday and Sunday.
