2008_12_devilslogo.jpg Devils 4, Oilers 3 (OT): It took eight games and most of an overtime period, but the Devils finally won their first game at the Prudential Center this season. With under two minutes left in OT, Ilya Kovalchuk scored the winning goal, completing the Devils' comeback from a two-goal 3rd period deficit. Mattias Tedenby scored the game-tying goal on a 3rd period power play, his first NHL goal. In more firsts, the win was Martin Brodeur's first since October 29th.

Timberwolves 112, Knicks 103: Danilo Gallinari was able to score 25 points in the loss last night, but scored 18 of them in the first half. But the big star of the game was Kevin Love, who had a 30-30 with 31 points and 31 rebounds. It was the first 30-30 in the NBA since Moses Malone's in 1982.
