Brandon Jennings puts up a shot against Amare Stoudemire (AP) Remember when the Knicks drafted Jordan Hill with Brandon Jennings still available? That pick still doesn't look good. Jennings scored 19 points to pace Milwaukee in a 107-80 rout of the Knicks on Tuesday. Amar'e Stoudemire, already a villain in Milwaukee for being involved in a play last season on which Andrew Bogut was hurt, picked up a technical foul in the third quarter. He also had a team-high 19 points. The Knicks, losers of two straight, get Golden State at home Wednesday.
Maybe a repeat performance of last season's 2-19 start isn't out of the question. The Nets fell to the Cavaliers, 93-91, in Newark in the first game of a home-and-home series. Travis Outlaw had 27 points to lead the Nets, who are now 2-5.
The Capitals still have the Rangers' number after a 5-3 comeback win over the Blueshirts. Brian Boyle (twice) and Derek Boogaard had the Rangers' goals.
