Video: New Yorkers Speak Kanye

What if you woke up only to find that everyone in New York City starting talking like Kanye West Twitters? One woman put together a video of what that exact scenario would be like (the sound is a little off so it could use some subtitles, but you'll get the idea). Oh, the horror!

Previously: New Yorkers read Amanda Bynes' Twitter.

couldn't understand a word... everything Kanye says is all sounds like pops and buzzes to me anyway, so I guess it makes sense.

    audio is terrible...

  • I appreciate the idea and the effort here. I'm not sure I understand why one would involve so many people in so many settings in a seven minute film, without figuring out a suitable method for recording on the street and making it audible. Yes, that could have made the shoot a little more complicated, but how many people were already involved, 30-40? The whole point of the exercise was the spoken word, so audio seems like a bizarre place to fall short.
