We spotted these signs all over our local Dunkin' Donuts this morning—this one appropriately displayed behind a "caution" marker—presenting the chain's latest food item: Sausage Pancake Bites! Or as we prefer to call them: Meat Munchkins. You can get three for $1.59, or six for $3, and each maple-flavored morsel comes with 100 calories and nearly 7 grams of fat, at no additional cost! (For those keeping track, five of these little things have the same amount of calories as one McRib sandwich.) Your move, Tim Hortons.

It'll never catch on. Name's a mouthful. No pun intended.

Oh, come on. What's with all the hate? Just think of these as mini versions of the Luther Burger minus the bacon and cheese.

  • militza

eating those is a sure fire way to get green-apple splatters!

Not that I would eat this, but I'm not sure why everyone finds this so disgusting. Who hasn't ordered pancakes with a side of sausage before? How is this any different?

I think the Dutch, who invented bitterballen, would also be amused.

  • Boogie Down

Sounds perfect for dippin' in some Baconnaise. Seriously though, what compels people to consume something this abhorrent?

As for Tim Horton's coming up with something comparably disgusting, won't happen.

  • Rocknrope

A McRib is only 450 calories? Awesome! Don't eat the bun and its even Atkins friendly!

this is why your ass looks like cottage cheese.

This is for people who always wondered what it would be like to eat testicles.

Their coffee is good, and munchkins are okay, but the rest of their stuff is garbage.

2010 gave us the trifecta of the Double Down, McRib, and Meat Munchkins. I am glad to see the apocalypse is on track for 2012.
