Palin A No-Show In NJ, GOP Plots To Stop Her In 2012

Trick! Last week, it was reported was that mama grizzly par excellence and potential 2012 candidate Sarah Palin was going to be in Toms River, NJ for a Tea Party Express event, but the new TLC star wasn't there. Still, there were 500 people heartily booed Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid. The Asbury Park Press says, "Some people carried American or 'Don't Tread on Me' flags; others sported signs in favor of Republican candidates or criticizing the media. One participant dressed as the Statue of Liberty; another as George Washington."

As for other Palin news, Politico reports there's a movement in the national GOP to stop her! "Interviews with advisers to the main 2012 presidential contenders and with other veteran Republican operatives make clear they see themselves on a common, if uncoordinated, mission of halting the momentum and credibility Palin gained with conservative activists by plunging so aggressively into this year’s midterm campaigns... 'There is a determined, focused establishment effort … to find a candidate we can coalesce around who can beat Sarah Palin,' said one prominent and longtime Washington Republican. 'We believe she could get the nomination, but Barack Obama would crush her.'" Please, don't get all hopey-changey on us now.

It's a fact that Palin gets more ink and airtime with the liberal press than any other. Why the obsession with this non-entity? I don't know anybody who's a real fan of hers, liberal or conservative.
