Video: Central Park Proposal Caught On iPhone

On October 24th, a young man named Frank became the latest to document his marriage proposal—he asked his girlfriend Kasey to marry him in Central Park, and caught it all on tape through a series of friends using their iPhones as hidden cameras. It's sort of cute:

    the video is really fake,

not many black people use iphones,

because those $10 tmobile pay as you go refill cards only last

about 15 minutes after a few text chats, and those texts are usually..."YO WHY YOU STEAL MY PHONE??? IM GONNA BLOG ABOUT THIS!"

  • matty

really? i mean, really? would you say this sort of thing to someone's face?

  • wow 14th street

    "An error occurred,please try later"

It's all fake, dumbass, so wipe your useless tears from your eyes.

More "look at me" hipsters grasping at straws to seek their 15 seconds of fame. Anyone remember the subway romeo or the hipster grifter??

Obviously it's fake, the 300lb man has a Hurley skin on his iphone.

If the bad acting wasn't a giveaway, the continuity issues with the hand bag should have been.

    über fake = über lame.

May I suggest that the event crosses the boundary between 'real' and 'fake'? That is, the scene was completely scripted, set up and acted -- indeed, over-acted -- but nevertheless it was a real proposal for a real marriage, about which one could cry if one were into that sort of thing.

The boundaries between the real and the fake were never all that definite, and in recent years they have become increasingly vague and permeable.

    it's feckin' real, mate.
