Judge: No Class Action Against McDonald's For Making You Fat

Earlier this week, a Manhattan judge ruled that a group suing McDonald's for causing childhood obesity can't file a class action suit against the company. Instead, any lawsuit against the fast food giant must be brought individually—like in Brazil, where a manager just won a $17K lawsuit against McDonald's over the 65 pounds he gained while working there for a dozen years!

The AP reports that the 32-year-old man said he "felt forced to sample the food each day to ensure that quality standards remained high, because McDonald's hired 'mystery clients' to randomly visit restaurants and report on the food, service and cleanliness." He also faulted the company for giving him free lunches, which he was presumably forced to eat at gunpoint.

A simple concept that few people understand these days:

    Personal Responsibility

    ...when kids are involved..

    Parental responsibility.

that child is not a joke. his parents are a joke! letting a child stuff them selves to death is neglect and abuse.

Beer brewmasters sample the beer all day to ensure quality. You know why they are not drunk out of their minds every workday? Because they spit the stuff out after tasting it.

OMG, look at that kid's arm! Poor kid'll probably be diabetic by the time he's Forty...if he even lives that long.

  • Crapola

The kid can do Michelin commercials.

Felix is a PETAphile. You think he cares about humans over animals?

Notice how others are concerned about the health of fat child in the picture.

Not Felix. He couldn't care less if the fat little boy dies at 40 or gets diabetes, like others on this blog worry about.

    Point proven again, right, Felix?
