Rand Paul's Head Stomper Demands Apology from Stompee
By now you've surely seen the video of a Rand Paul volunteer grinding his foot into a prone protester on the ground. (If not, we've serviceably embedded it below.) It turns out the protester, one Lauren Valle, is a Columbia University graduate who called NYC home for five years. She's gotten a lot of attention for the abuse she took in Kentucky Monday night, but Tim Profitt, the stomper in question, says she owes him an apology... for getting in the way of his nice sneakers? Hey, it worked for Dick Cheney when that idiot's face got in the way of his gun!
Yes, it's pretty tame as far as stomps go, but still a dick move. Valle was trying to get a photo taken with Paul while holding a satirical sign saying "Employee of the Month" (from RepubliCorp, a fake business created by MoveOn). "What happened was when they realized that I was there, they actually formed a circle behind me and then as the car pulled up, before Rand was even out of the car," Valle tells CBS. "So I stepped off the curb and around them. And then they actually pursued me around the car. This was premeditated." Alex Giblin, a 24-year-old volunteer with MoveOn, tells the Daily News he heard one of Paul's supporters say, "We might have to take someone down."
Profitt, who was dismissed from the Paul campaign yesterday, says he was merely concerned for Paul's safety, and tells WKYT, "I don't think it's that big of a deal. I would like for her to apologize to me to be honest with you... I put my foot on her, and I did push her down at the very end, and I told her to stay down. I actually put my foot on her to—I couldn't bend over because I have issues with my back." Way to go libtards—scare an old man half to death and make him nearly throw his back out. Maybe next time throw yourself under some old lady's cane? And now Profitt's in legal trouble, too; Kentucky police are serving him with a summons to appear in court, where a judge will determine whether to proceed with an assault case.

So one assault is highlighted, and the other one is buried by the media even though both happened at the same night. That's pretty sad.
Anyone generalizing from these despicable incidents ought to be ashamed of themselves.

I heard there was another assault from the other side that was pretty much buried because it didn't fit "the narrative".
"The second [assault] occurred after a Conway supporter stepped on the foot of a female Rand supporter, who recently had foot surgery, according to police."
You're right, Jessecal. After the national humiliation we experienced when Carter talked to Americans like they were adults, what we needed was a President who talked to us like we were special-needs children, PLUS who "palled around with terrorists" to win the election and ADMITTED IT ON WORLDWIDE TV. Oh, and who went senile in office, cut and run from (different) terrorists, consulted an astrologer while in the White House *and* began the era of ultracorrupt government, deficit spending and fat, bloated defense contracts.
I can see why you love and worship him so.

If Mr. Profitt would have been black, dressed in black militia garb and carrying a nightstick. . . Hey- even the U.S. Department Of Justice wouldn't have batted an eyelash at a little political stomping!!
The fact remains: The most dangerous threat to America is the Democrat National Party- followed closely second by Muslim Terrorists! It looks like American has to remind itself of this every 30-years or so- ie: Mr. Carter- previously the worst President of the 20th Century- and now, Mr. Obama- taking this title for the 21st Century!! Live with that foolish Democrat liberals/ Government based on FACTS, NOT FEELINGS!!!

How about FACTS and not RELIGION? I'd be with you on that one since we just got done with 8 years of the most blindly ideological presidency in the nation's history.
just saying
Valle was treated at a hospital for a concussion as well as a sprained arm and shoulder. (Seems like the great state of Kentucky has some very nasty hillbillies.)
But don't any of y'all fret about good ole boy Tim Profitt. Something tells me that bad back of his will be all better just in time for hunting season.
BigUps
Kentucky. Are we surprised?

The Right loves to shriek about how the Left is always mere seconds away from exploding in a frothing socialist rage, when they aren't screaming about "death panels" and waving their guns around or beating up protestors. They never apologize and they care more about tribalistic loyalties than anything else. On every issue, they offer nothing but lies and hatemongering. I can't wait for the mature and reasonable job the Republican House majority will do when they take over. I'm sure we won't have an endless stream of bullshit fake scandals, aren't you? This country is fucking doomed. Take some photos while there's still something standing.

Sick, disgusting fucktard. Love how cowards like these gang up on one person... a young lady at that. If that pos was by himself does anyone think for a minute he'd be that bold?
That kid could probably take him out all by herself if he didn't have his big fat mom and brother holding her down for him.

Valle has a long record of unruly conduct & vandalism. She was even detained in best country ever. Communist China. For some odd reason they don't like American moonbats over there.Too bad for capitalism? Maybe she should relax & settle down with a man, I mean a woman of her choice.

I truly, honestly, have no idea what this comment means. What are you talking about?

Idiotic minutia like this prevents real political debate.

I agree, however the this incident is a typical of the thug mentality of the tea party people who have disdain to those who wish to voice different opinions than theirs. The fact that this Profitt guy not only found it acceptable to stomp on a woman's head, but that he's demanding an apology only further confirms the perceived stereotypical behavior of the tea partiers.
Politburo
I agree. Yes, it's ridiculous that this lady got her head stepped on, and the guy should be prosecuted as appropriate.
But let's be real, Rand Paul wasn't the guy out there doing it, and the whole guilt by association thing is so tired after the manufactured dramas of Ayers and Wright. This has nothing to do with how Paul or Conway would vote in office, and I don't think it's a reflection on the candidate that one of their supporters went too far in a heated moment.

Rand Paul is supposed to be a leader. This is not the mark of a man who can control a situation. It has nothing to do with guilt by association.
