Was Salon Anti-Wheelchair Or Anti-Nonagenarian?

102610oldwoman.jpg An UWS beauty parlor recently coughed up $7,500 to 101-year-old Nettie Lobsenz for refusing to let her into their beauty parlor back in 2008, when she was a spritely 99. Juliette Gould, Lobsenz's daughter, says a woman at Mayra's Beauty Salon told them her boss wouldn't let her in "because she can't walk." But when Gould returned with a walker for her mother, the woman said that because of liability issues, "we just don't want her in [here]." And we thought this was supposed to be an aging-friendly neighborhood!
