Guess The Year: Model Edition

UPDATE: These photos were taken in 1955, and are of a model of Ebbets Field. When the Brooklyn Dodgers outgrew Ebbets, club owner Walter O'Malley announced plans for a privately-owned domed stadium at the Atlantic Yards in Brooklyn, but New York City Building Commissioner Robert Moses wanted the city to build a stadium in Flushing Meadows instead—the team eventually chose Los Angeles over Queens, and the original field was demolished in 1960. Here's some footage of the old stadium (which opened in 1913) being torn down in front of a group of fans:

    As you can see, O'Malley had to reject the plan when Fuller refused to include any seats for the fans.

    My guess is 1939, as in the New York World's Fair.
