Last NIght's Action: The "Good" Rangers Win

2008_12_rangerslogo.jpg Rangers of New York 3 Boston 1: Through six games Artem Anisimov has shown that he might be a big part of the offense. Saturday he scored his third goal of the season, giving him with 5 points in six games. If Anisimov can continue his surge, the Rangers will be able to overcome the injuries to Gaborik and Drury and thrive. Henrik Lundqvist had 35 saves as New York outlasted Boston.

Florida 4 New York 3: Don't blame John Tavares, he had a hat trick as he continued his monster start, but the Islanders offense stopped there.

Buffalo 6 New Jersey 1
: Why was Ilya Kovalchuk scratched? That's the big question as he was apparently healthy, but not in the lineup. All we know right now is that the decision was made "mid-day". Will he be back in the lineup against the Rangers tonight? Stay tuned.

Alright, let's go good Rangers. With the Yankees watching TV now, it's time to believe you can take steps forward from last season.
