New Allegations That Favre Booty-Called Reporter

Brett Favre may hold the record for most passing touchdowns in the NFL, but he also holds the record for most fumbles. And judging by new allegations today, he continually fumbled in his ill-conceived attempts at seducing former Jets in-house sideline reporter Jenn Sterger. Favre, who is already accused of sending inappropriate text and picture messages to Sterger, allegedly called her for "sex" a year after he left the Jets. "The same number that was used to send the messages in 2008 is the same one used to call Jenn in 2009, when Favre was in New York to film [the HBO show] 'Joe Buck Live,'" an anonymous source (let's call him Deep Throw) told the Post.

Of course, this is still an unsubstantiated rumor, as are the allegations that Favre sent Sterger photos of him masturbating while wearing Crocs. Sterger, the woman at the center of the controversy, has thus far refused to talk with the NFL, who has "fast tracked" the investigation, and are treating is as a workplace harassment issue. According to reports, either Sterger is "strongly considering" cooperating with investigators, or is trying to reach a financial settlement with Favre to keep quiet...or whichever happens first. Nobody involved with the Banana Penisgate story has outright denied any of the allegations so far, though some may be relying more on faith than others.

If Sterger does talk to the NFL, her testimony could damn Favre. "If she was to go in, that [conduct by Favre] would be corroborated and there would probably be a bit more," Deep Throw told the Post. Favre choose to sexually harass Sterger, nobody made him do it. So now he has to compensate her.

Seems a bit strange that she's negotiating with Favre directly, when she could also sue the Jets for sexual harassment since they were both Jets employees.

The only reason she hasn't talked yet is because she's waiting for their lawyers to come to terms.
