Parker Spitzer's 2nd Night Ratings Improve

2010_09_parkersi.jpg After a flaccid premiere, the second night ratings for the new Eliot Spitzer-Kathleen Parker CNN talk show, Parker Spitzer, did better. According to Media Decoder, the show "had nowhere to go but up — and up it went. The program, which also had a rough first outing at the hands of critics, showed noticeable ratings improvement on its second night: it averaged 513,000 viewers, up from 454,000 the night before, which is a respectable improvement of 13 percent." Maybe the viewers were there for the sulfurous chemistry or the car crash.

Elliot Spitzer is an interesting, intelligent man with great insight despite his sexual demons. I think his voice should be heard and he brings a very unique perspective as a former politician who fell from grace. Most of these other talking heads only know what they've heard but Spitzer has actually lived it and done it.

I SAW THE SHOW, THE WHOLE TIME HE'S GOT THIS MAN DO I WANT TO ROCK YOUR WORLD LOOK FOR HIS COANCHOR.

I predict failure because the name of the show does not roll off the tongue.
