Can we blame Donald Trump for the melange of attention-seekers, fools and beauty Queen-aspiring former ADAs who are attracted to him? Well, there's a new name to be added to the Donald's web of tackiness: a real estate mogul with ties to Trump has been arrested under suspicion of involvement with an international high-class prostitution ring. Yes, the man who pimps out desperate Wall Street guys on The Apprentice may be buddies with a real-life pimp. It's called street cred.

Tevfik Arif, 57, is accused of setting up trysts between wealthy businessmen and Eastern European models, some of whom were underage, aboard a $60 million yacht which was once used by the Turkish leader Mustafa Ataturk. Businessmen reportedly paid $3,000 to $10,000 per night to bed Russian and Ukranian prostitutes aboard the 450-foot luxury yacht named the Savarona. Ten models, two of whom were underage, were detained by police, along with ten other men reportedly involved with the ring.

Arif founded the Bayrock Group, which co-developed the Trump SoHo and the Trump International Hotel and Tower in Fort Lauderdale. Bayrock also developed the Trump International Hotel and Tower Phoenix, the Waterpointe, a residential development in Whitestone, Queens, and the Riverhead Resorts in Suffolk County, L.I. There are also photos online from the 2007 launch party for the Trump SoHo Hotel, showing Trump and Arif together, along with Trump's children Eric, Donald Jr., and Ivanka. A spokesman for Trump said he hasn't talked to Arif "in years."

  • Brainwash

Why is that man's head so large?

  • John L

    Just $3,000 - $10,000 for a $60 million yacht and a hooker?

Either the recession has brought prices down dramatically or Client 9 was getting ripped off.

The name was Mustafa Kemal, also known as "Ataturk". He founded the modern Turkish republic, banned fezzes & scarves, adopted a legal system based on Swiss Canon Law, established universal education, and totally changed the language, adopting a whole new alphabet. Died (assasinated) in '38. Mentioning his name in relation to this pro outfit is irrelevant. And this Arif guy is a Kazakh, AKA Russian mobster.

"Ten models were detained by police, two of whom were underage"

They have underage cops in Turkey?

  • calcetines

Does anyone actually still have a problem with prostitution?

  • ANGRYGOD11

    Yes, wives.

All kidding aside, if we were only talking about consenting adults, no. However, the reality too many pros are minors, runaways, drug addicts and drunks, even in Amsterdam's legal and regulated Red Light District.

  • l3iodeez

Whereas the reality of prostitution in their country is that it doesn't exist? Or may be it bereftof underage drug addicted women?

Its not. I work in Hunts Point, trust me its not.

Ill bet anything that Amsterdam's red light district, while not free of these problems, has them to a lesser degree than places where prostitution is underground.

  • ANGRYGOD11

I would agree Amsterdam has less problems, but the original question was if anyone has a problem with prostitution and now we're discussing how many and how severe.

  • underage? slavery?

  • not surprising, which boy did he set up Bloomberg with? Trump and his boob enhanced daughter are talentless crooks.
