Potty-Mouthed, Brawling US Open Guy Arrested!

Hey, remember that guy throwing f-bombs during the Novak Djokovic and Philipp Petzschner U.S. Open match, which raised the ire of a middle-aged woman and her 75-year-old dad and the three of them got into an ugly, perfect-for-Youtube fight? Well, Manhattan resident Joseph Pedevill is back in the news—and it's allegedly over an interview one of his neighbors did with the NY Post!

Pedevill's neighbor, Peter Scheider, told the Post in a September 4 article that the 27-year-old was "an insane nut." Now the Post reports, "Days after Scheider ripped him in The Post, Pedevill accosted him outside their building and screamed, 'You f- -king a- -hole!" according to a criminal complaint. 'You are going to get it. You are going to see what is going to happen to you. I am going to kill you.' The alleged threat violated the terms of the restraining order. Pedevill was arrested yesterday morning and released without bail."

Scheider got a restraining order from Pedevill last year because he claimed Pedevill damaged his car. Pedevill, who is banned from the US Open for two years, denied threatening his neighbor and added, "It's not just me,. Other people in the building have problems with him." Video or it didn't happen.

Forget the restraining order, Scheider had better get himself a gun, or hire a bodyguard. All a restraining order does is give a potential victim a false sense of security in thinking that the psychopath that wants them dead is now going to leave them alone.

The guy is an idiot and if he can disrespect an older couple like he did at the U.S. Open then what isn't this moron capable of?

I don't see any commenters who "took up his cause" in the previous thread. Everyone seems to agree that he was an idiot and that he was not behaving appropriately.

Most people also agreed that the couple he fought with did not behave appropriately by resorting to violence. You disagreed with that.
