Even though Mets reliever Francisco Rodriguez was ordered not to contact girlfriend Daian Pena after he allegedly punched her dad during a game at Citifield, K-Rod still texted her 56 times. But he got saved by a Queens judge, who decided not to send him to jail for violating the order of protection but added, "If there any future text messages or communications, I will remand you."

According to the Daily News, K-Rod's messages to Pena included, "If you love me, you can't deny me the opportunity to love you back. Let's find a resolution to this conflict," "I understand that perhaps I made a mistake - the biggest mistake of my life. But I love you," and "Your parents are manipulating you like a marionette." The Post has more: "Things like this should not be done especially when your parents have what have because of me, even clothes" and "Thank you for sinking me turning your back, take good care of my children... and now I see that your were with me because of the money to see that your family..."

Rodriguez's lawyer claimed that K-Rod was "unsophisticated" and didn't understand the court order included texting, "There are no threats. There are no menacing comments. He professes his love to the mother of his children." The Mets only said, "Because this is a pending criminal matter, we refer all questions to the district attorney's office."

I guess with this and the Mel Gibson tapes, when you get to a certain level of income there must be a serious paranoia that women only like you for your money
