Live From New York: Lindsay Lohan!

lohansnl9819.jpg Will fallen starlet Lindsay Lohan try to rise from the ashes of her burnt out career in front of a live studio audience? According to the Daily News, she's in talks with the Saturday Night Live folks about hosting on December 4th.

The first time she hosted the show was back in 2004 when Mean Girls was hitting the big screen (she was one of the youngest hosts, at just 17-years-old), and she hosted again in 2005 and 2006.

Last night she proved once again that she could poke fun at herself during the below short, taped skit that ran during the VMAs (though allegedly MTV didn't trust her to do anything live):

Through November 1st she's on a strict post-jail routine that requires she go to psychotherapy sessions, addiction counseling sessions, and 12-step meetings every week, on top of random drug testing twice a week. Currently she's in New York to be a part of her mom Dina's birthday celebrations this week... no word on if they got a Cookiepuss cake for the party.

Can someone from Gothamist give a legit reason why you report on this person? She is a hasbeen actress. She will go away once media outlets stop caring.
