Patriots QB Tom Brady was involved in a car accident early this morning. Brady was described as "pretty banged up" and "shaken" after a red minivan struck his black Audi near his home in Boston's Back Bay area around 6 a.m.

Brady was reportedly on his way to work at Gillette Stadium, home of the New England Patriots, at the time. All of Boston was notified of the accident, and held vigil until they received the sacred official tweet from the Patriots informing them that Brady "reports that he's OK." Brady is on the verge of signing a new $58 million contract extension. In other news, Jets players and fans still hate Tom Brady.
