Friday Fun: Big Terrific & Marcel The Shell

Tonight the Big Terrific crew goes big with a show at Music Hall of Williamsburg (moving down the street from their more intimate weekly outpost at Cameo). The comedy series was started by Max Silvestri, Jenny Slate and Gabe Liedman, and tonight they're inviting Todd Barry, Joe Mande, Jesse Pop, Brent Sullivan and "lots more guests and surprises we can't advertise" to join them. Given the venue, they've also got some music in store: "the extremely talented Nick Thorburn will be playing a special one-time-only career-spanning set featuring his songs from Island, The Unicorns and Human Highway. The Unicorns! Literally impossible to hear the Unicorns live anywhere else."

We'd normally reserve this type of thing for our indispensable daily newsletter, but then we wouldn't be able to finally post the Marcel the Shell video that's been going around internet for the past week—it was created by SNL's Jenny Slate and Dean Fleischer-Camp, and it is adorable.

What 20% DID you get? Also, I didn't realize comedy was a hip thing.
