Man Arrested For "Funny" Swearing Kid YouTube Video

Everyone appreciates a good, cheap laugh at a viral video, whether it involves a newscaster and a chicken or a grape harvest. But once you involve children, things can get creepy pretty quickly. Which might explain why Josh Eastman of Bridgeport, CT. was charged with impairing the morals of a child.

Police say that Eastman, 24 (although...c'mon, no way), coached his 8-year-old neighbor to swear and make racial slurs for a YouTube video, titled "Swearing Kid." The video, according to police, shows the boy in his front yard holding a garden hose and using obscenities and racial slurs. In the background, a male voice can be heard encouraging the boy to make the comments. (some YouTube commenters seem to think this is the video in question, although it doesn't match up with the police description of it).

And according to the child's mother, Eastman paid him $1 to do it. "This has been upsetting for the whole family. It's terrible what he did. This isn't my son. He would never say anything like that, and now it's out there for everyone to see," said the mother, who asked that their names not be revealed. "My boyfriend's sister saw it on the computer and was totally shocked and told us about it," she said. "Here my son is saying, for everyone to see, these things that are disgusting...I just can't imagine why [Eastman] would do something like this." Eastman posted $2,500 bail, and when reached for comment, refuted that the video was disgusting: "It was fun things, funny."

The family of the 8yr old kid are (inappropriate term) and lie about everything! The DCF is over their house once or twice a month and the cops are over there once a month. Because there is so many looser living there they are all a bunch of DRUG USERS and they smoke pot in front of the kids. I remember once the father was siting in the car late at night smoking marijuana in his car and the kid was sleeping in the car seat in the back seat. Also the father of the kid has told me before that he had let the kid drink beer what is he (inappropriate term) stupid (inappropriate term)! What is wrong with this world

The truth about this article is the kid in question has had been known to have nasty mouth foul mouth in the neighborhood! I and my neighbors have heard this kid call the African American neighbors the N word thats right the N word and hes only 8yo has he hes been swearing for about 3 years now and were sick that the parents have been told numerous times they just dont care! so one day the kid came over my house swearing and i video taped him and put it on youtube to show his parents and they had me arrested for it! I never payed the kid $1 and i have witnesses also in the video there is no evidence showing that i coached this kid the whole hood was tired of hearing this kids mouth we had to close our doors and windows I am not racist one bit I have an African American friends that can prove it! and wasn't my rights taken away from me when I was arrested my right to freedom of speech? And my civil rights? I was just tying todo the hood a favor by doing this and i get arrested whats wrong with that picture? The parents and grandmother should be arrested for raising this kid to be racist and they are the one impairing the morals of this child!!!!!! You got to love the news paper for making the whole story far from the truth!

What Josh doesn’t understand is it’s okay if adults impair a child’s morality all day long (just turn on your TV set) but it’s another thing when you put a minor in the position of doing the offending. It should just be the recipient of said moral profanity. Something TV networks will get round to addressing one day we are sure.
