Former '90s Star For Sale!

Claire Danes is probably pining for the days she had to worry about stalkers, now that she's stalking out corporate payouts! She recently shilled for an eyelash enhancement product called Latisse (brought to you by the Botox folk), and tomorrow she'll be giving painting demos in Grand Central Terminal! Or something. According to a press release we received, this is to celebrate the launch of Valspar Paint’s new Hi-DEF Advanced Color System. Get there tomorrow at 10:30 a.m. to check out the actress formerly known as Angela Chase paint walls. (Speaking of which, it was Chase who once said, “I bet people can actually die of embarrassment. I bet it’s been medically proven.") To be fair, tomorrow's event is also to benefit art advocacy non-profit United States Artists (though this doesn't mean Danes isn't getting paid). Still, Daria would never pull this shit.

My So-Called Life was an amazing show, and she left after one season because she thought she could do better. I'm still a tad bitter as well.

Pretty sure it was due to low ratings and people not being ready to see gay teens and kids with drinking problems portrayed realistically. I still blame Tino.

Danes is a great, underused actress. Meanwhile, wooden performers like Kristen Stewart and Cameron Diaz get tons of money to bore moviegoers.

that's the thing about this town, there's just so many interesting things going on all over, if one wants to stay interesting themself then it can be hard to pick which interesting happening in local arts and events to attend!!
