The two men who were arrested for running onto the field at Friday's Mets-Diamondbacks game in protest of Arizona's immigration law have been released after their arraignment yesterday. Michael Synan, 26, and Christian Peruero, 22, were charged with criminal trespass and interfering with a public sporting event. The two ran across the outfield in the 7th inning, waving Mexican flags as they went down. But one was out there for more than just the Mexicans—he was sporting a Puerto Rico World Baseball Classic hat. Though initial reports said there were nearly 200 protesters in the area, the Daily News says there were just 40 at Citi Field.

To me, protesting doesn't do anything but show your opposition. The Arizona law is an example of government doing whatever it wants despite what "a few" people say.

Illegal immigrants want change? Well, obey the law (come here legally), get educated, assimilate, and then influence.

If one’s country of origin is so good (flag waving and patriotism), why the 'f' come here?

    Release them in Juarez.

Release them in Guatemala. If they try to get back into Mexico without papers, they will really find out what harsh, draconian immigration laws are.

These idiots are so proud of Mexico but squeal like stuck pigs if you suggest they should actually live there.

Maybe they should start protesting the Mexican government's inability and/or unwillingness to offer the standard of living and opportunities they claim to want here. We're all tapped out here.

if you have two mothers, it's best to go to the one who's at least willing to listen -- even if it's your step-mother. the other one doesn't give a shit right now, at all.
