Lindsay Lohan Is Now Locked Up

Fans try to distract Lindsay with shiny, sparkly things as she walks the plank to jail

This morning Lindsay Lohan surrendered to the court and was sent to county jail to serve her sentence. Fans (or hired guns?) rallied outside with "Free Lindsay!" posters, and confetti flew as she entered the courthouse. While Complex magazine is using the occasion to run their months-old photo spread of the fallen starlet, TMZ has her most up-to-date photo: her mugshot.

The gossip site notes that Lohan will only serve 23 of her 90 days because of overcrowding. After that, will she be headed to Manhattan for her next court date?

This is the greatest travesty of justice, since the crucifiction of Paris Hilton. Seriously though. That picture is PRICELESS! The joke is most certainly on Law Enforcement. The kid will make a small fortune off this. Lindsay Lohan's Lesbian prison sex adventures? I'm just spitballing here, but this is some of the best performance art ever. By the time it's over we will have reach a new plateau. Or something.

Yawn. Lindsay Lohan ceased to be interesting about six months after that Mean Girls movie came out. Talk about a one hit wonder.
