Ah, to be beautiful, mysterious, and now, thoroughly political: now that Russian "spy babe" Anna Chapman's story is worthy of a book deal, we all know from the Obama line of political thinking that she is ready to run for office - in this case, parliament. The head of the chapter of the Liberal Democratic Party of Russia in Chapman's native Volgograd is pushing for her to run for parliament in 2012 and "will do everything to promote her candidacy for a Duma seat in the next parliament elections." Everything? What about making the public un-see the embarassing nude pics? Or calling on her international Insane Facebook Posse to bring her to victory? The rumored invite from Angelina Jolie to attend the Moscow premiere of Salt?

Fortunately, however, Chapman seems to be feeling pretty good about her recent ordeal and ready to take this daunting new step. On Wednesday she was singing a different tune than the Dickensenian one she had taken before quoting Eleanor Roosevelt on Facebook: "You gain strength, courage and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face. You are able to say to yourself 'I have lived through this horror. I can take the next thing that comes along.'" Deep, man.

Beautiful, mysterious, Party Girl, Spy Babe, etc, the media is making this bitch into a fucking movie star. She was a spy and I'm sure she was ready, willing and able to inflict whatever damage on the US or Americans that she was directed to to accomplish whatever mission she was on. She needed to spend at least a year or two in a U.S. jail before they sent her stupid ass back.
