Watch the Anti-Mosque Ad That's Too Hot for Networks to Air
A group of brave patriots pooled their money to make this urgent public service announcement warning their fellow citizens about the "monstrous, 13 story mosque at Ground Zero." But those jihadi-sympathizers at NBC and CBS are refusing to broadcast the commercial! We all know it's because network executives hate the principals of religious intolerance upon which this country was founded, but of course they can't come right out and say that; check out the ad and their reasons for rejecting it:
"An ad questioning the wisdom of building a mosque at ground zero would meet our issues of public controversy advertising criteria," writes NBC Universal advertising standards manager Jennifer Riley. "However, this ad which ambiguously defines 'they' as referenced in the spot makes it unclear as to whether the reference is to terrorists or to the Islamic religious organization that is sponsoring the building of the mosque. Consequently, the ad is not acceptable under our guidelines for broadcast."
Scott Wheeler, who runs the political action committee that paid for the ad, sees right through that and tells Politico, "They have very selective standards—they’ll run anything MoveOn.org throws out there."

I think its tasteless to give such a privilege to one religious group over the victims. after how many years this is the best America can come up with??? it's rude to everyone whom is not of that faith, and unfortunately this is not the right way to confront any prejudices against the Muslim community as a whole. this was God- awful. shameful choice to erect a Mosque. it's sad that we cannot confront the horrors of what happened that day, we'd rather not look at the suffering as most of us did on t.v. that day or shortly after, maybe it was shocking, but no more shocking than the plan's for WTC site. Confront the prejudices on it's own battle grounds, not on the blood stained grounds where so many innocent lives perished.

Why are we more moved by this then the blatant disregard for the fundamentals of American life? freedom and respect for all? where is the fairness in erecting a place of worship over a site of tragedy for one religious group? were all the victims and their families left behind all Muslim? why are we not fighting that fact that any religious building be placed here when that alone eliminates a sense of togetherness in this tragedy? how fair is it to have only one faith represented? or any faith at all? where is the beauty in exclusivity? where is the place to look upon as strength when it only represents one group? thats not fair, and no i don't want to hear Christians this or Jewish that, thats not fair, we are trying so hard to be so politically incorrect that we lost sight of what happened here and how this united us in a bloody horrific way! forget the church down the street, why are you even mentioning that old thing? i am not arguing religion, im arguing America. FOR ALL!!

there is no such thing as a "peaceful" muslim. ALL muslims will have to become RADICAL to advance their goal of a islamic-run world. THE "PEACEFUL" MUSLIMS RIGHT NOW just believe the TIMING IS NOT RIGHT. BUT WHAT IF they start believing the hype because the Koran does talk of a takeover. its time we call this for what it really is-a war of religion, more particularly, a war of different Gods..

i dont "hate" muslims but i do believe they are not being truly honest of their "agenda"

Does anyone think that any of the building unions are going to participate? Consider that they were involved in the recovery and clean-up process? If it does get approved, they will have to use non-union workers and the project will be sabotaged...

what i'm concerned more about is...
...what's going to happen to the mosque after it's built?
Think2wice
-"Kill the mosque."
-"Kill..."
-"Kill..."
-"Kill 'em all!...because we need to be sensitive to peoples' feelings"

Is everyone here naive? The ad is right on target. What a short memory we all seem to have.

No mosque at Ground Zero is like saying no Subway Sandwich shops at Ground Zero. Both are heavily frequented by Islamic people, but that doesn't make everybody holding a 6 inch Veggie Delight on Wheat no cheese a terrorist.
'run for it marty! they're attacking us!' Who? The Libyans!" haha.

A billion people worship at mosques every day but somehow we need a religious force-field around the World Trade Center? What else? Braided garlic to ward off vampires?

This ad's disgusting.
Still have never heard if there has been any discussion about the loudness and frequency of the adhan.
Aside from that most people will never know that the mosque is even there.
SP's Ghost
It's not going to be a mosque. Does anyone worry about the loudness of the church bells coming from a YMCA? Also, it's not going to be AT GROUND ZERO. It's going to be in the area, but not on the actual footprint of the Twin Towers. The disinformation and the stupidity surrounding this is staggering.

"Does anyone worry about the loudness of the church bells coming from a YMCA?"
Didn't know they had bells.
Probably depends what's nearby.
Which as I was saying, is the only imaginable way this could bother anyone being that most people, contrary to what you may think, know where the building is by now.
