In One Day: 3 Delta Aircraft Malfunction At JFK

deltaplane.jpg Delta Airlines didn't have a very good day at JFK Airport yesterday. Over 600 passengers on three different 767 aircraft were delayed due to mechanical problems. According to the NY Post, all three flights were schedule to depart for Europe; one headed to Barcelona had to turn around once in the air, and the flights to Dublin and Istanbul never even took off. One passenger, who spent 10 hours in the airport, told the paper, "The delays are incredible, there are no supervisors to talk to and my luggage is held hostage." Allegedly the problems ranged from a faulty indicator light to engine issues. Well, at least there were no epic tarmac strandings.

one time my flight out of SFO was delayed 45 minutes because they couldn't get the toilet to stop flushing. True story.

The last time I flew Delta one of the toilets was busted, friggin' disgusting.

(And I mean that. It was the LAST time I flew Delta.)

'Aircrafts' is not a word. 'Aircraft' is both singular and plural.
