He's No Juicehead, But Snooki Thinks McCain Is Cute

Nicole Pollizi, better known as Snooki, the drinkin' and fightin' pouf'd heroine of Jersey Shore, was interviewed by her Twitter buddy Senator John McCain's daughter Meghan for The Daily Beast. Snooki says, "To be honest with you, I’m not really a Republican or a Democrat. I actually signed up as an independent, just because I don’t want to pick any side and also I don’t really know a lot about politics. I only know politics about, like, you know, tanning and being a Guidette. So when I saw it was Obama and McCain, to be honest with you, the only reason why I voted for your father was because he was really cute and I liked when he did his speeches."

I remember McCain tweeting to Snooki about how the gov't's efforts to restrict indoor tanning was bad. Having skin cancer is so easy to forget, apparently.

I'm old. I don't watch Jersey Shore, I lived it back in the 70's. I like Snooki. Know why? She can take a punch, both physically and emotionally. I know grown men that would still be whining to a therapist about being hit like that. We were potentially looking at another long boring national symposium on violence against women. She personally spared us all, by barely acknowledging the incident, and refusing to wallow in her victimhood. The effort is appreciated here. Tough broad.
