Clintons Eyeing $10.9 Million Home In Bedford Hills

Former president Bill Clinton and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton are busy: Not only are they celebrating the wedding of Hillary's longtime aide today and planning daughter Chelsea's July 31 wedding, they're also looking to buy a new home: "Sources told The Post the Clintons are planning to trade their almost-modest suburban Chappaqua home for a sprawling $10.9 million estate in the bucolic Westchester town of Bedford Hills, complete with 20 acres of gorgeous land surrounded by New York's elite."

The home, owned by a real estate firm owner who recently declared bankruptcy, is 7,000 square feet with five bedrooms, six full bathrooms, and two half baths. Besides a wood-paneled library, his-and-her dressing rooms in the master suite (the hers is two stories), and wood-beamed ceilings, there's a pool, poolhouse, two guesthouses, a stable, a dressage ring, and an artists' studio. That means there's enough room for the Secret Service!

The couple moved to Chappaqua in 2000; at the time, they said it was their first home since 1983, because between 1983 and 2000, they had lived in the Arkansas Governor's Mansion and White House. And that move allowed Hillary Clinton to run for Senate that year.

Why does Bill Clinton in NY keep following people I know and where they live and/or work? Last time someone else wound up moving in the area he was living in and now he is moving into an area. Go figure.

I would say based on his home valuation though, he seems to be out of touch with his fellow Americans who live a much worse lifestyle than his own.

Warrent Buffet bought a modest home in Omaha Nebraska and kept it for years. Bill Gates wound up with the huge Xanadu 2.0. Loads of the wealthy elite have the bigger homes akin to or larger than what Bill Clinton is buying into, but also plenty have smaller residences.

The people I know have much more modest homes in the surrounding areas who are professionals in their own right but were not President of the United States nor had accumulated the same wealth over the years.

When I visited the story for his home, I somehow wound up with someone who tried to infect me with multiple HTML Viruses which fortunately my virus checker had removed successfully. I don't recall if I saw the story here or elsewhere.

So from his modest upbringings in Hope Arkansas to Bedford Hills, New York, we see the evolutionary chapter of his life, though I do admit I am not his presidential biographer and in no way idolize Bill Clinton. He has had his ups and downs and I have disagreed with him on various issues.

He is just one individual on the world set of politics who has grabbed attention getting headlines over the years and gotten in the intellectual pit with heavy hitters so to speak. Some people really smart who we have come across. Othertimes policies we have disagreed with.

The circle of life is at 6,697,254,041 as of the last figure I saw for the world population clock. Which means a lot of human brainpower, thought and accomplishments and things going on in the world on a 24/7 basis.

Well I see this as Bill and Hilary Clinton buying a home and nothing more than that. It is a nice stately home appropriate for an ex-President although the furniture pictured there are ugly and dated.
