Boozer: Dipping Head In Vat Of Acid > Playing For Nets

2010_07_boozer.jpg Since the Nets, who had the worst record last season but now flaunt a Russian billionaire owner, seem to be out of the LeBron James sweepstakes, the Post looks at how the Nets failed to get their backup potential savior, Carlos Boozer, the power forward from the Jazz: "Boozer who, when the Nets visited Utah in January after their season was truly DOA, pretty much claimed he would rather dip his head in a vat of acid than consider New Jersey. Guess he felt the same now, though the vat was lined with nearly $80M." Boozer is now signed with the Bulls; he claims Chicago still has a chance at James.

Despite his tendency to get injured, and his softness on defense, as a Jazz fan, I'm going to kind of miss Boozer.

Agreed ... doing business with men of questionable ethics and morals risks ultimate failure and disgrace in life. Who would want to play for a team tainted with dirty money and corruption? Ratner got what he wanted, but he is going to pay the price: no one trusts him.

Who can blame him? The Nets are horrendous. Ratner gutted that franchise so he can build shitty condos & office towers.
