The eagle-eyed Zoe Schlanger took to Twitter 20 minutes ago to let her group of followers know: "Van Leeuwen truck giving out free ice cream courtesy of Coach on 84th & Bway. Unannounced, no line." And with that, we say STORM THE TRUCK! (She also mentioned there's a earl grey black tea flavor, which sounds delightful.)

CORRECTION: Free Cream Ice.

Anyone who thinks they are getting ice cream will be disappointed. Take everything that's good about ice cream: sweet, creamy, satisfying.. and get rid of it and you have the flavored ice made by Van Leeuwen. I have first hand knowledge that French people don't like it either, so when you justify its tasteless taste by saying, "it's French", think again.
