Ke$ha Show Will Go On... Just Not At The Seaport

php0cW6hkPM.jpg Yesterday word got out that the remaining Paper magazine concerts at the Seaport would not be happening, following their free concert last week featuring Drake and Hanson—which ended in a riot before any notes were played by either band. The shows, including one by Ke$ha, will go on, however—just at a different venue. In a statement we received last night, they announced:

"Paper Magazine and The South Street Seaport were excited about the prospect of providing free outdoor concerts from some of today's top-charting music artists. However, since it was demonstrated that the escalating popularity of the scheduled artists can result in crowds that exceed even the safe capacity of the Pier 17 concert stage, both Paper Magazine and The South Street Seaport have decided that the remaining events of the 'Sounds like Paper' concert series will be relocated. The separate and long-running events of the Seaport music festival will continue as scheduled without change."

They've yet to announce where the shows will be moved, and the NY Times notes that a new stage may not have been secured yet; a rep for Ke$ha's label said that as of yesterday they had not been informed about a new location. Let's just hope there's room for her astronaut dancers:

I don't listen to it, but understand humanity before spewing your filth.
