And that might have been the last we ever heard of him, if not for a lot of flashy jewelry that the Devil Wears Prada star was forced to turn over to the feds. Follieri is in the news again today because all the expensive jewelry he gave to Hathaway is being auctioned off, with the proceeds going to benefit our needy government.

The Smoking Gun obtained photos of some of the jewelry that the Italian-born fraudster bought for Hathaway with his dirty money. The haul includes two watches, two rings, two bracelets, two necklaces, two chains, silver earrings, and a Louis Vuitton box. One gold Rolex Cosmograph Daytona given to Hathaway retails for about $25,000. Damn, the government's going to get rich off this! Hope they don't spend any of this windfall irresponsibly.
