Sexy Banker's PR Push Could Cost Her Current Job

She says she lost her Citigroup job because of her unbearable pulchritude, but it's her big mouth that could cost Debbie Lorenzana her current job at Chase. Lorenzana, who is taking legal action against Citigroup after supervisors allegedly terminated her because they can't tolerate pretty women, has been all over the media since the Village Voice featured her in a cover story last week. Today she's set to appear on Good Morning America and the Today show, but her lawyer claims her bosses at Chase are trying to silence her.

"These are the people who've been gaming the system," her lawyer Jack Tuckner tells the Daily News. "Now they're saying she's making the industry look bad. They're circling the wagons for Citibank." Lorenzana, who works as a licensed personal banker at a Chase branch in Williamsburg, had already received approval to take today off in order to accommodate the TV interviews. But on Saturday night she says she got a text message from her manager saying her day-off request was cancelled. :( And she was told that if she went ahead with the scheduled television interviews today, she'd be terminated.

Lorenzana claims the gag order came all the way from the top, from Chase CEO Jamie Dimon. She tells the Post, "I was under so much stress, [my boss] said it wasn't up to her and that the only thing I can tell you is pray." Lorenzana defied the orders and did the interviews this morning anyway, so now her fate as an employed banker or future reality show star is in God's hands.

Someone close to her needs to say the following ; "Take a fucking hint and stop making waves , before you end up unemployed and on welfare stupid " !

  • pointsguy

When is her debut album coming out?

  • S.K.

If Chase fires her, I will boycott Chase, as will 10,000 other horny male NY Post readers.

"Now they're saying she's making the industry look bad."

she makes the industry look bad, but the last 5 years of banking on Wall St doesn't? the worst they could say is that she possibly looks too hot for the office, but banking in general has the current public image of an infectious bordello so it must be that she looks attractive while banking just looks cheap..

Look at it this way, Why is it that only certain people are selected to be hands models ? Or Face,Feet Models ? Because they have the features for the job ! This chick has the brains to handle the job in banking . The problem is , She either doesn't know/understand the concept of office etiquette . For some it's a "Catch-22" . For the rest of us it's more of a "Learn as you go thing" . Is she sexy ? Yes she is . Should she be able to wear what she wants to work ? Yup she should ! Question is Should she ? The answer is Emphatically No ! I'm sexy as hell myself and I work in an office setting as well and have never dressed to draw attention to myself . Now sexy just oozes off a person naturally and that can't be helped ! But it can be controlled through professionalism, and some commonsense when dressing in the morning .

I just saw a video of the interview Debbie Lorenzana did on The Early Show. At first she presents an attractive (even professional) appearance, but then she opens her mouth. Oh man, it suddenly becomes clear why she wasn't meeting her sales quotas. What person would ever entrust his money with her? She doesn't come across as being remotely intelligent or even articulate. Lawyer needs to keep her muzzled.

She "makes the industry look bad" because she's one more annoyingly stupid person that will roll her eyes at you when you have to ask her for the tenth time to repeat what she's saying because she can't properly sound out words.

She's a fucking bank teller with no education. Being uneducated gets you nowhere in this city. Perhaps she should realizer this and and start saving some of that money she's been wasting on depreciating assets, like her "high end" wardrobe, and put it in a college fund (tax free) for her child.

Furthermore, she needs to take a minute to look around and see that NY is MOSTLY made up of above-average looking people (actors and models to start) and nearly ALL of them are also high achievers to boot (like having gone to really good colleges or being the best in their profession, etc). She is nowhere near even the middle of the heap.

  • FelixtheCat & Christine Quinn'

First she was a Bank rep not a bank teller and second, I don't know where you work but I am surrounded by supersized meat eaters in my work place. Blah.

  • Clarice City

There are lots of other fast food restaurants that you could work at.

  • FelixtheCat & Christine Quinn'

nope, I work in a financial institution but they do look like fast food customers. blah.

  • billybob

The next Ashley Dupre, she probably has an "album" too.

  • HughGass

This media whore has moved way past her case now, she's addicted to the fame and attention. Never dreamed of being on tv! SHe' probably a cross between Nicole Kidman in To Die For and Kim Kardashian.

  • kazubes

All these photo shoots, paper articles, tv interviews, etc simply reflect poorly on her character regardless of the merit of her case and I would not want someone working at my company behaving that way.

  • Clarice City

Good point. A good lawyer would not let this happen. But, she probably hired a sleezy ambulance chaser.

  • hotstepper

    agreed.

  • longacre

What if she was really hot though?

  • MT

Denny Crane would know what to do.

  • Gotham Extremist

digging thru the internet, I found some nuddie pics!
