Here's my thing with the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict: it is so, so, so boring. Basically, just the same thing, over and over - all the leaders are either psychotic, can't think their way out of a wet paper bag, or a combination of the two, and don't care about their constituents except for the factions consisting of insane extremists. Every few years, some relatively well-meaning outsider thinks of a new plan to fix it, and it invariably fails. Then someone losses their shit and does something violent, which is retaliated for with more violence, etc., etc. No one ever has any new ideas, no one ever says anything new or intelligent, just the same fucking boring talking points over and over (see this thread, for example). So, so boring. Fuck the both of them; they deserve each other.
