Three People Stabbed In East Harlem
Earlier this morning, just after 5 a.m., three people were stabbed in East Harlem in seemingly random attacks. Two of the victims were stabbed at E. 125th Street and Lexington Avenue and another person was stabbed on 119th Street near 5th Avenue. One of the victims at E. 125th Street fled into the 4/5/6 subway station "was found bleeding on the platform."
According to MyFoxNY, "Witnesses say two of the victims were Good Samaritans who tried to intervene in a mugging. The suspect apparently stabbed them before running away and stabbing another person." All victims are at Harlem Hospital, and one is seriously injured (the man stabbed at E. 119th was stabbed in the back and slashed on the head).
It's believed the suspect, who was wearing a black polo shirt and blue jeans, ran into Marcus Garvey Park.
