Pet "Adotapalooza" In Washington Square Park

2010_05_adoptapoolza.jpg The Mayor's Alliance for NYC's Animals is holding its first "Adoptapalooza" in Washington Square Park today between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. There are tons of activities, including raffles and a "dog agility demonstration" with "an obstacle course of tunnels, jumps, weave poles, and more" for your dog to try out. Plus, there will be an opportunity to meet dogs and cats available for adoption from Animal Care & Control of NYC (AC&C), Sean Casey Animal Rescue, and the Picasso Veterinary Fund. And check out this cute story about a recently widowed Soho resident and the dog she adopted.
