The storm that brought us over an inch of rain yesterday has moved on to the Canadian Maritimes. Behind that storm a weak disturbance may bring a shower or two this afternoon. For the most part, however, we're looking at mostly cloudy skies, with an occasional peak of sun, for the rest of the day. The sun's brief appearances look like they will kick the high up to the mid 60s in the city.
Tomorrow is a different beast. A ridge of high pressure will move eastward, bringing with it clear skies and much higher temperatures. The mercury will top out near 80 on Thursday and a few degrees higher than that on Friday.
Saturday is shaping up to be the better day to abandon your kids in a strange park this weekend. Onshore winds will provide moisture for clouds and keep the temperatures down into the lower 70s. More clouds and a good chance of steady rain are currently in store for Sunday.
