Jose Gomez and Beatriz Briceno, the two struck by an oncoming subway in Astoria last Friday, were reportedly on their first date that night. The two had met when 19-year-old Briceno had waited on 29-year-old Gomez at El Cocotero in Manhattan, and had been out for just a few hours when she dropped her jacket onto the elevated tracks. The jacket, which was valued at $200, also contained her wallet, cell phone and keys.

Briceno is currently recovering from the accident, but suffers from a lacerated kidney and liver, and bleeding on the brain. Her stepmother said that she continues to improve, and was able to squeeze her father's hand today. "She's a little more aware today," she said, but still hasn't been able to speak. A wake was held for Jose Gomez on Monday night.

I don't care how hot she is, if some girl I'm on a first date with jumps onto the tracks, I'm not following her.

    "Grow up looser"

What does being a slut have to do with anything?

  • schadenfreudian mensch

It's not that big of a deal, but if you were to say he's 39 then yea that would be creepy.

  • Stevennnn

    Age is just a number.

Nobody will say something if he was 45 and she was 35.

  • Guest

    Because she said yes.

  • WorksInDUMBO
