Wind Whips Dog Off TriBeca Terrace

flyingdog0510.jpg A woman in TriBeca, Sarann Lindenauer, says her dog Alfie blew off her 11th-floor terrace in Independence Plaza during a recent wind storm. The TriBeca Trib reports that the wind lifted the dog off of her terrace, carried him east, and dropped him on the roof of a nearby townhouse. The dog just has a few bruises and sore paw from his adventure, and Lindenauer says, “I call him my miracle dog." Turns out a neighbor saw the dog running around in the rain on the roof it landed on, and brought him back to the building. At the time of the May 3rd incident Lindenauer was at the grocery store, and insists her Alfie didn't jump, saying, "I’m thinking that wind just took him." Yeah, we'll smoke what she's having. maybe I should change my screen name.

a few posters did this, "etypical", "3" the korean guy.

    I'm thinking "Ichee bunghole".

  • youngpro

yes, 1-800-fake law is felix, as you can see it would hardly be possible for there to be yet another deranged person on here who is as pet-loving, anti-human and ONLY comes out to play when felix is being put to task.

felix = apathysucks (1-800 fake law) like dr jekyl = my. hyde.

  • FelixtheCat & Christine Quinn'

wacko is that valeriob is youngpro.

  • youngpro

    i am not valierob

  • thefacts

    My God! You're right.

When I first read "handsome devils" post it was so gratuitously mean to the poor woman, calling her ugly, that I was shocked. I happen to be familiar with this woman. She loves her dogs. I wondered why someone would pick on an innocent human being that he didn't know. But that's how PETAphiles work, proving my point they HATE humans

The writing style and text have all the hallmarks of Felix.

I noticed Felix disappeared here recently, his avatar assumed by "Quinn Fund". Now we get multiple postings by nut jobs, who hate humans and love animals.

If you check out 1=800-FAKE LAW, the early posts are all saturated with other posts by Felix.

So, 1-800, handsomedevil, QuinnSlushFund, Felix are all the same schizophrenic person. That's scary.

    It's Felix allright!

Felix: you're a lot sicker than I ever imagined. You need help. Seriously.

Do you still beat your girlfriend?

  • Amanda Harletsch

yeah because this story is all about hating humans!

    Who is the narrow minded?

  • FelixtheCat & Christine Quinn'

i am not handsome Devil. I think he/she is playing with you

  • No Brain Stem

So relieved that the fellow is fine but this woman really should be more responsible for him

  • Manitoba

Wait, do you have a billion aliases?!?! I'm starting to think this whole site is just multiple postings by you back and forth to yourself.

  • FelixtheCat & Christine Quinn'

I am not handsome devil. he/she is playing with you. I only have one signon. I just changed the username felixthecat to ChritineQinn'slushfund. The other one with that cheap picture is from the facebook page created by the psycho youngpro. The same one who created the blog about me and the same one who follows me all over this site.

  • youngpro

first of all, the pic he's using here is MINE. It's felix's friend. If you click their profile, they only come out to play and comment when their friend felix is in defense mode.

  • thefacts

    youngpro,

Do I read you correctly? Is that a photograph of you?

If so, how did Felix get it? Have you any idea? What was the linkage involved? You may have a stalker. Creepy.

But I agree with you. Felix has at least three other identities here, all spewing the same loathsome people-hating, animal-loving messages.

Felix is a self-hating human. And very, very sick.

  • FelixtheCat & Christine Quinn'

it is you that is very sick. And it is youngpro who is sick. people like you are so delusional. you think compassion is abnormal. how sad. youngpro is the one who created both the facebook page and blog about me. she/he is the one who send me emails all night till I block her from my page. She/he is the one following me on the site. And this picture is not hers. She send me mail that this picture and profile was all a fake. dman you are stupid.

  • youngpro

felx, let's get one thing straight here: YOU follow ME, YOU came to ME on facebook, You joined all MY groups to follow me even further, YOU came to MY blog and left threats.

who is following who again? stop playing the boo-hoo victim card.

  • handsomedevil

Fuck you buddy you don't know anything I've seen your picture on facebook and you are fat so why don't you get a life creep.

  • Manitoba

    Uh ok, psycho.

I don't have a Facebook page anyway, but go ahead and keep talking to yourself. Eventually, all of the voices will merge... listen to that one.

  • ohgoodgolly

Knowing this building/street, I can absolutely confirm that the wind is that strong. I once saw a 10 pound ceramic pot go flying from a terrace, as well as a moderately sized palm tree. The wind around that building is unbelievable. Don't doubt it until you've seen it.

  • eyekantspel

Yeah, we'll smoke what she's having.

    snark fail.

  • gawkthis

we have repeatedly had 50mph winds in Manhattan and Jersey City since February (I have to walk to work in them almost every morning). It is perfectly understandable to me how the winds could have whipped the dog off the roof (landing it on the other roof is the unbelievable part of the story for me).

Of course if Jen still doubts it, she is more than welcome to ride the ferry to Paulus Hook with me one morning next week (round-trip is my treat) to experience the "Chicago on the Hudson" winds first-hand, although she is kind of petite so we may need to tether her down (because the Hudson is very cold now)...

  • The winds were fierce the last couple of weeks. Glad the doggie landed safely.
