Bronx Man Pleads Not Guilty To Meadowlands DWI

050910meadowland.jpg Frank Morocho pleaded not guilty to charges—drunk driving, assault by auto and leaving the scene of a dangerous accident—related to last Friday's hit-and-run outside the Meadowlands. Nine people were injured as they tried to cross Route 120 on the road, instead of taking a pedestrian footbridge after a soccer match at the Meadowlands (Morocho was allegedly the only driver not to stop for pedestrians). A lawyer for Morocho mentioned his four-year stint with the Navy and how he was struggling to find work as a carpenter, "He’s a young man who’s never so much as been arrested before. This was a tragic accident, and we're all praying for the victims’ speedy recovery."

I hate lawyers. Who cares what other things he's done or hardships he's going thru - he ran over then ran away from a bunch of people. If they Navy taught him anything, it would be to face your problems and most of all help your fellow man.

I think the lawyer should go to jail, too, for wasting time and oxygen making that stupid f'ing stament.

DWI once? Never drive again. No exceptions, no excuses.
