A 64-year-old-man is in critical condition after stabbing a younger man and attempting to slit his own throat. Mieczyslaw Gozde was recently dumped by his girlfriend, the victim's mother. He cornered the 26-year-old on an elevator in his Ocean Parkway apartment this morning around 7:15 a.m. Gozde allegedly stabbed the younger man in his right arm, and then brought the knife to his throat. Both men were taken to Kings County Hospital, where the son is said to be in stable condition.
