y'know, i just realized that calling south korea (where my parents are from) a third-world country doesn't make me feel bad at all. it's just a simple misunderstanding of facts: "korea is a third-world country" is like saying "mexico is a south american country."

"what is the very worst thing i can find out about this country i don't like?" instead of looking at the best possible features and wondering what are some good points, you look for the worst possible things that even most koreans aren't even aware of?
